Hi Brien,

First of all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We apologize for not keeping in touch more often - as with everyone, life is very busy!

We absolutely adore our newest family member, Macy, and we can spend hours just marveling over how great she is! :) We can't believe how fast the time has passed and she is now approaching her first birthday! She has grown so much and is now maturing into a wonderful companion.
As mentioned during our last phone converstion- she had a little problem getting spayed due to her infection - however all is well that ends well. Our wonderful vets continued to discuss with other collegues in other provinces and decided that it was worth the risk to try and spay her anyway - hoping that the infection would clear up after the surgury and it did. Everything is now fine and she is in perfect health!

Macy LOVES to play, run and cuddle. We take her on hikes with us often, and when in the woods, or away from the city, we allow her to run free. Boy can she run!!!

When in the house, she loves nothing more than to curl up with both of us on the sofa and cuddle in. She is incredibly affectionate. We have no kids ourselves, but she has proven to be very gentle and kind to friends and family members and their children. She is also a great playmate to many other dogs of all sizes- although she is much more energetic than her peers (her only match is our friend's Border Collie).

We have attached a number of pictures of Macy ( now that she is grown) on hikes and around the house. In some of the pictures you can see the narrows (while hiking Signal Hill- a historic site) as well as the waterfall on the way up Butterpot Mountain. There is also one or two of her in Terra Nova National park, as well as her swimming with her Border Collie friend Taylor.

When Macy is a little older and our lives a little more settled, we anticipate adding another one of your beautiful dogs to our family!

Price reductions for unsold older puppies represent the value lost to an owner for not being able to raise and train a puppy from infancy. Price reductions for older puppies do not reflect a reduction in the quality of the puppies sold nor do lower values for older puppies reduce the value of the higher priced puppies sold for optimum adoption dates.

In our experience, there is no disadvantage to adopting an older GBSD puppy. The Weimaraner breed is naturally able to bond with its master and family. In our experience purchasing an older puppy at a discount has little or no effect on one’s ability to train or socialize the dog. Purchasing an older puppy will not inhibit strength of the bond that will develop between you or your family and the puppy when treated with love, care and attention. Older puppies are often house trained and have had all their vaccination shots.
